Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located on Moreton Island, an island paradise with beautiful beaches, calm crystal clear waters, and diverse wildlife. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway, just steps from the beach. The rooms, although a bit dated, were spacious and clean, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The service was accommodating, particularly for special occasions, and the location provided easy access to fun activities like sand tobogganing and wildlife exploration. The dining options were delicious but on the pricey side. Overall, a great place for a family vacation.
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to a capital city and ferry services to Moreton Island paradise, with helpful staff. The rooms, though a bit small, are modern, clean, and updated. The dining options are delicious but can be expensive, and the early closing time is a drawback.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room, although listed as deluxe, felt old and basic. The key cards were a hassle as they needed constant rescanning. Some tours were overpriced, like the night kayaking which I found to be a waste of money. On a positive note, the location made up for the shortcomings, especially for the recommended dolphin feeding and snorkelling trips.
